What is SFO Celebrates?
SFO Celebrates is an experiential series that brings San Francisco’s neighborhoods and cultural events directly to passengers at the Airport. Passengers can enjoy live performances, music, arts and crafts, photo booths, and more! Most activations take place in the terminals post-security.
Now Celebrating: Lunar New Year
In the Chinese zodiac, 2026 is a year of the horse, which begins on Tuesday, February 17! Lunar New Year is considered the most important holiday in China and is observed in many countries across Asia and Southeast Asia like Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and beyond. Each year, San Francisco hosts a lively Lunar New Year festival and parade that is one of the largest celebrations in the world. This year’s Grand Parade will be held on Saturday, March 7 in downtown San Francisco.
